HSA & FSA
Acupuncture and herbal medicine often qualify for HSA/FSA funds, though coverage varies by plan.
HSA/FSA cards work like any standard debit or credit card at checkout.
An itemized receipt is provided with each visit, including the date, service description, and provider information for your records.
Some plans may require additional documentation to process claims for services such as acupuncture or herbal medicine. Check with your plan administrator to see if this applies to you.
Insurance
I’m an out-of-network provider, meaning I don’t bill insurance companies directly. Instead, I can provide a superbill on request after your visit. You can then submit the superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement review. Superbills are available for acupuncture, acupuncture plus, and telehealth herbal medicine. They are not available for group acupuncture or add-on herbal prescriptions.
What is a superbill? A superbill is a detailed receipt containing everything your insurance company needs to process a reimbursement claim. Whether you're reimbursed, and how much, depends on your plan's out-of-network benefits. A superbill does not guarantee reimbursement.
Before Your Visit
If you'd like a clear picture of your coverage before submitting a superbill, you can call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network benefits for acupuncture?
What is my out-of-network deductible?
What percentage do you reimburse?
How many acupuncture visits do you cover per year?
What is the process for submitting a superbill?
Cancellation Policy
Because booking reserves dedicated time for your visit, appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are charged the full treatment cost. I understand that life happens; if you're running late or something unexpected comes up, please reach out as soon as you can.
